Life Coaching and Psychotherapy

Life coaching is not a therapeutic intervention. The various therapeutic approaches such as psychotherapy focus mostly on an in-depth exploration of the client’s soul and past. To a psychotherapist will go someone who is suffering from a psychological trauma, someone who has a psychological problem or, in general, someone who, for some reason, focuses more on the past and cannot move forward.

In life coaching the focus is on the present and the future and not on the past. Most people that begin a life coaching program are psychologically healthy people that have realized the importance of personal development and continuous improvement and seek support regarding the pursuing of a goal and the attainment of changes in their lives.
